Recently, Dr. Cao Longjun, as the founder of Ruiyan Robotics Technology and co-founder of Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Technology Development Research Institute (HK-AITRI), participated in the "Digital Intelligence Empowerment - Songjiang District AI Empowerment Industry Transformation Salon" special seminar organized by the Songjiang District Data Bureau in Shanghai. This salon closely follows the national "Artificial Intelligence+" and "Data Elements X" action plans, implements the deployment of the "One Zone, One Plan" for Shanghai's AI enabled industrial transformation, focuses on the two main lines of intelligent terminals and new energy facilities, gathers forces from government, enterprises, industry, and scientific research, and exchanges ideas and practical plans for the implementation of AI enabled real economy.
Salon on-site system introduction: The development foundation of Songjiang's AI industry: the regional manufacturing and service industry chains are densely populated with enterprises, and there is sufficient reserve of intelligent manufacturing scenarios; Strong industrial collaboration capabilities in self-developed intelligent terminals and matching intelligent components; The advantage of the computing power base is prominent, with advanced computing power accounting for about one-third of the city's total. It is supported by a city level computing power dispatch platform and an integrated ecosystem of space, sky, and earth, providing solid support for industrial AI innovation.
According to the plan, Songjiang will promote the transformation of the AI industry with a "three-step" pace: complete the construction of the plan and service provider system, and initiate scene collection within three months; Comprehensively promote supply and demand docking and industrial popularization within 6 months; Complete phased goals within 12 months, cultivate a batch of "AI+manufacturing" products, strengthen the supply capacity of embodied intelligent components, and create benchmark demonstration scenarios. The eight key tasks follow the "5+3" layout, and the five tasks are oriented to AI+intelligent terminals, covering consumer terminals, industrial terminals, new formats of 6G and satellite Internet, personalized intelligent support, and intelligent computing cluster construction; Three tasks anchor AI+new energy facilities, layout smart grid equipment, new energy storage, "AI+power service" demonstration, explore innovative scenarios such as zero carbon parks and virtual power plants. At the same time, four guarantee mechanisms including coordinated special teams, scene docking, talent attraction and education, and ecological improvement are provided to systematically safeguard industrial transformation.
The direction of this salon is highly aligned with HK-AITRI's long-term research focus on physical AI, industrial intelligent agents, trusted RAI, and green low-carbon computing power. Songjiang's layout in intelligent components, industrial terminals, and new energy zero carbon scenarios provides broad space for industry university research collaboration and technology implementation. HK-AITRI will continue to pay attention to local industrial partners in Songjiang, focusing on industrial intelligent agents, AI digital workers, zero carbon park AI simulation, computing power energy conservation, and other directions, promoting technology docking and scenario co creation, and helping AI technology to be implemented on a large scale in physical industries, empowering the intelligent upgrading of Changsanjiao manufacturing industry with technological innovation.
